Maybe now this ~5 year old story that involved no harm to the general public can finally be put to rest. In a few years the Haslam family will be turning majority ownership of PFJ over to Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway anyway.
They committed criminal fraud by stealing money from their customers. Lots of crimes don't involve harm to the general public. - wa8yxmExplorer III

Well if Mr. Buffet is taking over I expect good things for he appears to be a good man but...
"No harm to the general public"
As I understand this involved Pilot/Flyning-J signing up trucking companies to re-fill at a Discount and then hijacking the discounts. (Holding up the rebate checks so they could use the money for a period and actually earn thousands and thousand of dollars in either reduced insterest payments on loans or on investments)
The problem here is the trucking companies also have financial obligations,.
The cost of transport is part of the cost of everything you buy
SO this scam DIRECTLY Impacted the cost of your RV, the cost of your Car, even the cost of a loaf of bread at the supermarkewt.

For it very cearly DID harm the general public, the government, and most every corporation in the country.. A major crime indeed. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIMaybe now this ~5 year old story that involved no harm to the general public can finally be put to rest.
