It's supposed to drop to 30 degrees for 3-4 hours overnight tomorrow, then well back into the 40's during the day. It seems that getting just below 32, for only a couple of hours, should be a non-issue, and since I don't have a compressor, the concept of adding all that antifreeze for just one night seems like overkill. But, I don't want to make a mistake. Would you be concerned?

No problem, it will have to get down into the low 20's for many hours (6-8) before you need to worry. Your water temp is starting out at probably 50F and it takes a long time for stuff to freeze. If you're concerned, stick an electric heater in the RV set at low temp, open the cabinet doors where there is a waterline and the bathroom door and sleep tight.

I've camped in colder weather and had no problem. It probably won't get that cold inside your rig anyway. If concerned, you can open faucets to relieve pressure buildup.

I don't worry too much about 30. It got to mid-20s here last night. I checked the trailer this morning and there was slush in the lines. Tonight I'm running the heat at about 40. After that were supposed to be a little warmer at night.

Using advice I got on this forum, we camped in Yosemite recently where the temp at night got to 29 F. The advice was to run the water heater to prevent freezing up. We had no problems in that regard, and we were covered with snow.

No, not at that temperature for that short period.
But I did mine with pink stuff yesterday since they predicted it to go to 19 here.

I was caught off-guard by the dropping temps too. It may have been fine if I did nothing, but I just set my furnace to 50 degrees for the one or two nights where it will be cold. It shouldn't use too much propane or battery power.
