Adapters for Blue Ox towbar vs. Roadmaster baseplate?

Good day all, I'm getting ready to set up a new Nissan Xterra as a toad. I already have a Blue Ox Aladdin towbar. I want to use Roadmaster baseplates on the toad, because they exit above the bumper. Blue Ox for this model exits below the front bumper and would reduce ground clearance (this is a 4x4).

I see that both companies offer an adapter. Does anyone have any experience using these, recommendations on whether to use the BO or RM adapter, or comments/advice?

I had to use an adapter for blue ox baseplates with a roadmaster towbar...it worked fine....don't use it now because I have a different toad!

I have used both with no problem. Kind of like the Roadmaster setup a little better.
