After Market Pin Box

I am sure this is a topic of past discussion; Have a 2013 Sandpiper 365saq with the Lippert Components factor pin box model LIPP 1716. Was looking at upgrading to aftermarket pin box for better ride and less wear and tear. The new Sandpiper's come factory with Mor-ryde pin boxes. Was looking at that and also Lippert Flex Air. Just started research and those were what I have seen at campgrounds, any other suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance!

I have MorRyde in place of a Lippert 1716 pin box. Had a bad case of chucking. The MR removed about 70% of it. Would I buy a MR again? No, I'd go with a dual purpose pin box. One that has a bag for up and down and something for fore and aft.

This is the second one I have had. I like the way it helps the RV float separately from the truck. The TriGlide portion works well also.

RAM Factory rear air ride, TrailAire air bag with TriGlide for fore and aft, B&W RVK3600. Excellent ride.

Best ride without having a Hitch with bags.

With a Lippert frame, you need to contact them and make sure that they would approve of an aftermarket fro the trailer. Yes it is out of warranty, but why not ask.

I have run Mor/Ryde on two 5ers and now i have a Demco Glide and a Trailer Saver TS3 air ride hitch. This combonation is by far the smoothest I have had.

I have a TrailAir. I wouldn't spend money on doing that again. Doesn't seem like a significant difference to me.

I have the MorRyde pin box and it's just plain great. It works to remove most all of the fore and aft chucking. It will not have any effect on up and down motion due to things like pot holes but I have an air hitch for that.

Have had a trailair pin box on for probably 9 years. Never had a problem with it. Will have to install a new air bag this winter.
