agm batteries next to an inverter?
http://www.dekabatteries.com/assets/base/1398.pdf I picked up some of these batteries for free. since they are sealed batteries can they go next to the inverter in an enclosed area?

Yes, they do need some ventilation. The attached article gives the rationale behind this. It's mostly a precaution, but could be pretty explosive if the right set of conditions were encountered.
