Is this something that would have a decent audience for it? I could build this pretty easily.
The answer has everything to do with location. Recently, we have been outside LA and, now, outside Seattle. In those two locations (and many more, I presume), the sky is the limit for what one could charge. For example, I would have paid $2000 per month for a space in or around Hollywood. That $2000 is what I paid to an RV Park about thirty miles out and the gas it took to drive back and forth to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica, etc. Yes, there are other places in some of those areas but most of those have limits on length of stay.
As someone else mentioned, there probably are troubles with zoning, HOAs, etc... but these things have wheels for a reason. When I was in LA, I was desperate enough for a closer spot that I would have tried (and maybe been run off) in hopes of finding one that worked.
One more point that I think is relevant: I'm not talking about party spots... rolling out the awnings, chairs, firepit, grill, music, etc. I'm thinking about a place to park a coach behind a house... quietly. If you (and the neighbors) didn't see me coming and going in the toad, you wouldn't even know I'm there. Edit added: Well... except for the 40' coach you're looking at. lol. Actually, this isn't really such a problem. When I was kicking around the area, I noticed plenty of spots where landscaping, walls, etc would have effectively hid the coach from the neighbors.
Yes... there is a BIG demand for this in plenty of markets. Let me know if you put something together.
