Altering Honda generators for high altitude

Has anyone felt the need, had the urge and/or modified their Honda 2000 generators (or any make/model) for high altitude?
At home (7200'), our twin set up with parallel cord seems to power the Coleman Mach 13.5 unit just fine.
Are there forum members with a different experience at this elevation or higher at (9-10K') and needed to modify? thanks.
(sorry this was posted on the 'round the campfire forum, earlier).

This thread - clicky covers a cleaning/rebuild, but is what I used to learn how to change the jets in my EU2000i.

I live at 2,500', but all my dry camping reservations for the next few months are at 7-10'K. So last week I changed my jet to be on the safe side. It was the third time I've done the job and didn't need the photos and was done in under 30 minutes.

It is less work than the thread I linked to, as you don't have to get the carb fully disconnected from the unit.

A big part of why I bought the Honda over Champion (or even the Smart-whatever Costco genny) was so I'd have easy access to parts, especially the high altitude jet.

Sea level to 9000 feet, single digit temps to over 100. No adjustments needed. Works fine.

Seemed to labor a bit running the microwave at 9000, but still did the job.

We use to camp at 9000'+ and our single 2K Honda ran just fine. I did have extra jets, but never used them.
