Water heaters have a problem of build up of rust and iron sediment in the tank,
this plugs the unit up and slows water output. However the decision is yours, but if you got 15 years out of it might be time to replace, some of the newer "tankless"models have instant hot water and fit right in the same area as the 6 or 10 gallon units. In the end the decision is up to you.. Good Luck and Happy camping
