This weekend, we did some driveway camping at a family members house. We wanted to get out for a quick trip just to make sure everything was working for the start of the season and their kids were wanting to sleep in the camper. On the ride over I looked in the mirror as we were making a turn and I swa one of the exit windows flopping in the wind. One of the kids unlatched the window while playing inside and I never thought to check it before we left. I now have one more thing added to my check list before hitting the road;) Other than that everything went as planned and the kids had a blast driveway camping.

Same thing happened to me, but someone traveling behind got my attention to tell me it was open and flopping.

A recurring problem I get is because the water pump is turned off while in the driveway, the first time I turn on the water pump I get water flow in the kitchen and/or bath becuase little fingers play with the faucets.

I always do a walk around the rig before getting under way from home, campground, fuel stop, rest area stops, etc. I check for open windows, open utility connections, unlocked doors and storage compartments, hitch still set up as should be, umbililical cord still hooked up, low tires, etc. I have added the windows to that list when we had our old TT when DS didn't latch the egress window by his bunk and it was flapping for a few miles before I caught it in the mirror.

With kids around you never know what can happen, but would never trade them for anything.
