Another tire pressure question

When I left home a few weeks ago (Wisconsin), I made sure that my tire pressure was set in the morning before the sun was really up (the outside temp was about 65ยบF), and the normal increase of tire pressure during driving occurred.
I am now in the Cascade Mountains of California, and we have night temps in the low 40's around here, and day temps approaching the upper 80's.

My cold tire pressure is now quite bit lower, while the pressure in the early afternoon is similar to that in Wisconsin.
Do I need to adjust my tire pressure now to the new cold temperature pressure (do I need to increase it?) or shall I leaved my tires alone, and continue my travels with the original set tire pressure?

Cold set morning tire pressure changes due to altitude changes are small and not worth messing with on my load E truck and trailer tires.
However higher altitudes can be colder which has a large effect on morning cold set tire pressures.

We pull up to Eagle Nest, NM (8500' elevation where we go) with 30 degree morning temps from NE OK where its 100-110 degrees. Tire pressure in the truck and trailer are always down 8-10 lbs in the mornings but when it warms up to 75-80 degrees tire pressure come back to normal pressure sitting in camp.

My guess would be the air temperature change balanced out the altitude change.

Thanks for your answers. I will air them up to my weight requirements and see what temps I have the next morning (hopefully a little warmer than here.)

If your pressure is within 10 lbs. and you are getting ready to hit the road, don't worry, the will heat up after hitting the pavement. If you are stationary and are not travelling anywhere it will not matter since they are close to normal in the afternoons. JMHO.......

If it were necessary to do anything other than air up cold wherever you are, the tire mfrs would have probably said so by now.

regardless of where you are...

Each AM of travel day check/adjust air pressure COLD (not driven ON)

Just like you did prior to your trip

Repeat this daily when moving to a new climate.

Well it all crunched together but if you stretch the 80psi out to the max weight and other pressures accordingly then you'll get the jest of it. Nowhere that I see does it say you have to run full out max pressure, its according to the weight your carrying on your RV.

I'd air them up A) according to the load range table provided by the manufacturer or B) according to the door sticker or owners manual.

Max sidewall pressure is just that, the maximum pressure the tire can safely operate at. There's plenty of youtube videos and websites in general that explain why max pressure is often not the answer.

In my opinion, if your within 10 or so pounds of your max req pressure I wouldn't worry about it, that also depends on if your loaded to the max weight rating of your tires. If you maxed on weight then I would keep it within 5 or so pounds. My 16" tires usually heat up about 6-8 lbs when traveling depending on outside temps. I have 16" where 15" tires used to be so I know I have some room to play.

I'd air them up to max psi per sidewall.
