We recently started towing a 2011 Equinox 4 cylinder. It is a great towed car. We even get 1 MPG better towing it than towing our Miata.

Just follow the Owners Manual.

We pulled a 2010 Terrain for 2 years behind our motorhome. Same vehicle as the Equinox. It was a good toad. Had the 4 cyl. with awd. No problem towing it for about 10,000 miles. You need to stop every fuel stop and let the vehicle idle for about 5 minutes and were not supposed to tow faster than 60 mph per the owners manual. Just pull fuse #32 which is easy to get to on the passenger side of the counsel.

Glad to hear you checked the Equinox manual before asking. So many don't.

Motorhome Magazine 2010 Dinghy Tow Guide

It is one of the featured vehicles for 2010. Your only obstacle would be your tow bar rating and weight limitations. Not sure what those are.

Might want to see if the mods can move this to the "dinghy towing" section.
