Anyone have experience with this dealer?

I am asking because it could be a scam or it could be a liquidator or listing agent.

The number listed is always 720-439-8533 (Cricket cell phone). The seller is always someone different, which raises suspicion, but if it is a listing agent/broker, then it would be normal for the actual owner to be listed.

Has anyone done business with this party and what was your experience like?

I'll accept PMs on this topic if you're more comfortable with that.

This party has an RV I am interested in. The price is good, but not jump out of your pants good, if you know what I mean. It's just a model I like.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Mods- if this post is out of line, pm me and let me know how to ask it. Thanks.

I got a text reply asking for email for more info (I asked some Q's). I think I'll use a disposable address in case it's fishing for a spammer.

One of the links I found was for a 'we loan money and buy gold' business, so maybe some kind of pawn?

Anyone with experience with this seller, be sure to pipe up.

I agree with the very wise 'proceed with great caution' advice.

The Crockett phone comment was simply intended to say I ran a reverse lookup. I didn't find any complaints or scam posts, but a lot of the ads were posted in the past week...

I know several honest people with good incomes that use the Cricket phone because it is cheap and it fits their needs. I would not let that alone scare me away. Just be cautious and proceed with your eyes wide open.

Some people are so afraid of being scammed that they do stupid things like "text me". What their saying is "I want to sell, but I don't want to put up with all the garbage that comes with dealing with buyers and tire kickers and possible scamers." Or maybe it is a scammer. Have to admit that the phone # is all over the map!

Going along with other postings above, kind of looks suspicious. If this is the Winnebago Rialta that one of the posters referred to, I haven't heard great things about the VW power in Rialta's, check for user experience on this particular unit. Plus it has lots of miles which limits what you'll be able to put on it w/o possible major repair expenses. We just purchased a Class C a few months ago sight unseen, several thousand miles away. Even though it's turned out ok, wish we had seen it before signing the deal as it wasn't quite as perfect as the dealer said (and we assumed) it was. Think I'd back out of this deal and if you're really set on a Rialta, then do some searching on owner experiences. Again if the ad you're looking at isn't for the Rialta as one poster noted, then disregard my posting. Good luck in your search.

Too many red flags- I would run, not walk away.

Well it is not underpriced, but the ad really gives very little information. The picture looks too good, and there is no front license plate, at requirement in California. If I were interested I would text to see it, however, purchasing on-line might be a real gamble. JMHO

Any time I see something that sounds fishy I usually google the number or name. It will quickly show if others have had problems or been scammed. Didn't see any complaints for the number you listed. Sure does have a lot of stuff for sale though.

Is the RV a Winnebago Rialta? RV Ad I find the 'text only' a little shady.
