Anyone towing with Aspen or Commander Hemi?

Hello
I'm thinking of trying a medium size SUV for medium size trailers and as a daily driver and people hauler. I have had Explorers in the past but wanted something with a little more capacity. I was looking at the 2007-09 Aspen or possible a Commander. It seems they both have tried and true drivetrains (hadn't heard anything bad about them). They are rated to tow up to 8750 in 4wd versions (Aspen) I think. For those that have owned/towed with them what are your experiences and opinions? Thanks

No weak spots in the drivetrain. Change the fluids when needed and use good fluids.
I get 15 around town 18 highway.

Any weak or problem spots with that drivetrain? What mpg's do you get empty?

Just a note... The Aspen's sibling is the Durango platform, and the Commander's is the Grand Cherokee platform. These are two very different things. Keep this in mind...

I have a 2005 Dodge Durango with 5.7 liter Hemi, It tows great.
Plenty of power. Good trans/engine combo. Mine has the tow package.
I get 10 mpg when towing my hybrid camper.
