Anything stolen from locked compartments.

Nothing stolen in 17 years 751 locks. I have forgot the 751 key and borrowed a neighbors key.

Never had anything taken from compartments.

Had beer taken from outside cooler during my tenting days

And lost my ch751.......neighbor opened my compartment for me before I used the 'universal key/screw driver'

If a thief opens a 751 lock and steals something I have to replace it. If I get better lock and a thief breaks in I have to replace the stolen item, the door and better lock.

Nothing ever stolen...don't lock.
Where we camp...why would they try to break into my trailer when it is a lot easier to hit the tent campers .....
We don't keep anything in there worth stealing anyway.
When our $14.00 badminton set becomes an antique, we may consider securing it better.

I don't lock the compartments; never noticed anything missing. :C

The CH 751 key also fit most older E-Z-GO golf cars. When I was working for a dealer, I had a 751 in my toolbox, on a ring with the little stamped key that fit most lawn implements. I seldom had to look for a key!
As for the motorhome compartments, apparently some previous paranoid (IMO) owner changed the locks, and now it takes three or four different keys for the compartments. It is such a nuisance finding the right key that I just don't lock them. Nothing has disappeared.
I wish somebody who wants to get rid of their 751 locks would send them to me so all the compartments would take the same key again!

Partially correct. Most correctional facilities have multiple sally ports. There are vehicle sally ports and there are pedestrian sally ports.

Sally port bypass keys are often kept in locked boxes with glass fronts that say "Break Glass In Emergency". This is why it's rather silly that the bypass keys are the all too common CH751.

Looking back at ~40 years tent camping before we got our trailer, with my parents when I was a kid, then us, never had anything stolen and we left everything out at the campsite.

When I was young a group of us went camping in Yellowstone. After our trip in the back country, we stayed at a campground in Yellowstone on our way home (tent camping). In the middle of the night somebody drove through the campground and stole a bag out of our van. As they drove out of the campground they threw items out of the bag that they didn't want, so clothes were strewn all over the campground and along the road. This would have been about 1984.

Sadly, it happens.
