I would normally say TT's because of the cost and easier to pull with an average vehicle, but since we're talking 35' plus.... I'm not so sure.
For my own personal opinion, I wouldn't go anywhere near a TT that's 35'+... it's a bear to haul something that long that isn't a 5th wheel. Plus, it's harder to find places to camp in a long trailer like that. So that being said, I think a 5th wheel is better.
I have no experience with MH's so I can't speak there, but I would think there it would depend if you're talking buying brand new and reselling in a few years, or buying one that's used and reselling in a few years.
