Didn't want to hijack another thread so am asking here . Does anyone use this app? Had it recommended by a friend.

We used it when it first came out but it seems really outdated with business closings etc. We use the iExit, Truckers Tools for fuel, History Here, and Google for locating points of interest.

Great find, thanks.

A note for iPad users, I found this under iPhone apps.
For some unknown reason iStore will only let you shop under iPad or iPhone but not both at once ???

for specific place I use Google maps to find. I use POYNT a lot for general use. I use gasbuddy for staions.
I use the radar search on delorme streetatlas a lot while traveling.
Just don't lean on any one app.

I know nothing about these Apps,(carried a flip-phone until a few months ago) but all this talk got me curious! Downloaded iExit and sitting here in my living room it gives me all sorts of businesses from RV Service to restaurants. Pretty cool! Old dog learned new trick! Thanks all!

Around Me, Fast Food, Yelp: all good, useful apps. One works better than another in various locations.

And yes, iExit is great, but only on Interstates. That's about half my needs.

Around me is the one I use.
Try out the free version first.

Next Exit is for Freeway exits only.
Yelp is OK but mostly used for reviews in larger cities.
Around Me shows where all the small businesses are, around you.

X2 and then some of the business that are closed still popup and you wait your time driving there. If at all possible if it says it is were you want to go...call first.

iExit app will do the same thing: exit/intersection information; things around you as you drive or walk; and mapping with audible turn directions if you want it.
