Here is what I have
MH 31,000 gross
Front axle 12,000 max
Rear axle 19,000 max
Towing 41,000 Gross

Flat Towing jeep
Front 10,020
Rear 18,100
Jeep 4,300
Gross 32,420

Towing enclosed trailer
Front 9,500
Rear. 19,600
Trailer 6,500
Gross. 35,600

Have WDH hitch MH ride height correct. Car is a bit forward in the trailer. Should I back it up some? Right now trailer and rig drive well and trailer is sitting level, maybe 1 inch up in front. Any suggestions to get the weight more on front axle and less on rear axle? The trailer is a 10K.

Thanks. I tightened up chains. They are facing a bit uphill, not level with the hitch. I moved the load back some also. I noticed I had been creeping/cheating forward as I was loading the car after stops on this trip. Going less than 100 miles today....I'll see how this works. Be nice to run across scale. With air ride the MH levels it's self, tough to get measurements of toung weight changes.

The chains can be "tight" but not transferring any significant load.

That is evidenced by the loss of almost 600lbs on your front axle. It should be the same hitched as unhitched if the WD is doing its job.

Transferring 600lbs back to the front axle of the MH will also alleviate the 600lb overload on the rear axle.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

Do you have a pic.... My experience is you need to be in the 5-6 link range to leverage the weight significantly... 4 links put 100lbs forward....

Let me give correct weight of loaded trailer in hitched.
7700 lbs. WDH bars are level with trailer tounge. Chains are tight.

It appears the tongue weight is about 1000#.
That means the TW% is about 1000/(1000+6500) = 13.3%
I would not change the position of the car in the trailer.

However, it also appears the WDH is not distributing any load.
How do you have the WDH bars adjusted.
