K-5 a good toad?

I have an 1986 K-5 Chevy Blazer (CUCV) and would like to use it as a toad, the Army TMs say that I have to disconnect the drive shafts in order to tow over 50 MPH. Does anyone have any experience towing one of these.Thanks

Extended warranties for the TT?

Dealership is pushing a 7 year extended warranty. Fully transferable, $100 deductible, full mobile coverage. Covers everything but wear and tear.Roof is 12 yr from mfgr, 1yr for everything else.What is everyone's thoughts on the extended warranty?
