What has been the best black tank and gray tank additive for trouble free maintenance?

Going to retract this question. Someone was kind enough to refer me to the search option. Thanks for the information and polite response.

I agree, many of the just plain water folks make quite a stink!

I put 4 gallons of water (or so) in the black tank before each trip- I don't use any chemicals and don't have any odors (yes from the tank!). I have a tank flusher and use it every time I dump the tanks. I have clear section of sewer pipe so I can see when the water is running clear. have been doing this the past few years and it works, the longest we have gone between trips is 4 weeks and still no smells from the tank.

I like The Geo Method.

The VERY best is lots and lots of water.

Pretty much the rest is up to whatever scent you like...pine forest, lemon mist, raspberry razzle, etc..

There is no BEST additive.
Correct dumping of the black water tank and grey water tanks will give you the trouble free use you seek.

Chemicals will just control odors and MAY minimally provide some breakdown of solids.

All I use is Bromine in the tank to control odors and have yet to have a problem

Happy Camper is a great product. I have used just about all the different stuff to pour down the toilet and this stuff is the best bar none

Someone will probably tell you to use the search function. I had a question about this last month, searched for "black tank cleaning" and ended up with a few hours' reading.

I decided on trying the Geo method (you'll find it during the search) and it worked great.

Happy hunting.
