- scbwrExplorer III use any good car wash product. Recently, I've started using Protect All and it has worked well. The front cap of the trailer needs to be waxed more often than the rest of the trailer, but Protect All is so easy to apply and wipe off that it minimizes the "chore" factor.

My wife just got through washing our 5'er with McGuire's Gold Car Wash, it works great, but it took her all day to do the job. She is getting older and slowing down some but it is important for men to remember that, as women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of trailer maintenance as when they were younger. When you notice this, try not to yell at them. Some are overly sensitive, and there’s nothing worse than an oversensitive woman.
She had to take a break when she was only half-finished washing the 5th Wheel. I tried not to make a scene. I’m a fair man. I tell her to fix herself a nice, big, cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and just sit for a while. And, as long as she is making one for herself, she may as well make one for me, too.
I know that I probably look like a saint in the way I support her. I’m not saying that showing this much consideration is easy. Many men will find it difficult. Some will find it impossible! Nobody knows better than I do how frustrating women get as they get older. However, guys, even if you just use a little more tact and less criticism of your aging girlfriend or wife because of this post, I will consider that writing it was well worthwhile.
That made me laugh out loud... - down_homeExplorer III like the no spotting car wash. Can't think of the name now but there are a couple of them.
Washing something this big you can get it all done before it starts drying. It's especially bad in hard water areas so I use a real good filter. Only thing it won't get is some lime. After it is clean a second soaping with Mcquires wash and wax and rinse and both of us hit it with towels on the end of a long squeegies. Heavy and cumbersome but we generally get it all done in good fashion.
Wash the windshield again with no spot car wash and get it really clean with microfibers and no ammonia window cleaner. - topflite51ExplorerI agree with Happy Prospector! :B

on a whim I decided to run the Motorhome through the Do It Yourself Wand Wash Bay!...the results were beyond my expectations and the $20 that I spent were worth every penny!
How did you wash the roof, and the places you can't get to from the ground? - Free_Range_HumaExplorerLOL, Happy Prospector!
- DSDP_DonExplorerI hate to be the bearer of bad news and some may disagree, but you really can't wax your vehicle with a car wash product. I know for many it's just too difficult to wax these beasts, so wash it and then just do small sections with a spray on wax that you wipe off. You'll at least get some protection and luster.

Yea, I go through an entire roll of paper towel, but it works just fine. For spots with road tar or bugs, WD-40 works very nice.
Follow up with McGuier's Auto Detailer and wip with a paper towel. Works pretty good. And the paper towel method ... you can spot clean any time. Well ... this works for. But I don't mind a little elbow grease!
