You might be able to place the camera on the trailer at the front maybe attached to the awning bracket pointing to the area of the tires that you are trying to see, and run a coax cable to the front of the trailer that hooks to the pulling vehicle, same as the light and brake cable except it is a cable connection for the tv signal.
