- jnharleyExplorerIndiana sells diesel tax exempt to truckers and the advertised price is always substantially lower than the one you will end up paying at the pump. You will find this at all the truck stops. If it is a regular gas station that also sells diesel, the advertised price is what you will pay. So watch out for the diesel prices in Indiana.

FORD FUEL GUIDE
I don't think this is the document you want if you are discussing 85 octane. There is no reference to minimum octane requirements. If you are going to run high levels of bio diesel or ethanol levels just make sure your vehicle is rated for it but this is entirely standard/requirement than octane levels. - arnko37ExplorerWhen you use a credit card(not debit) the station has to pay the issuing bank a fee of about 3%. Since it cost the station more they charge you more, they are passing the fee on to you.
- GoPackGoExplorerThen you can probably run up to E10 ethanol blend with no problem. Sorry, what is the tie-in to 85 octane ?

It is posted on the filler port of my MH not to use this fuel.
15% Ethanol DOES NOT equate to 85 octane. The two numbers are independant measurements. 100% gasoline is not necessarily 100 octane and 10% ethanol is not usually 90 octane. - PastorCharlieExplorer2008
85 Octane is regulated by fed law to light service vehicles, i.e. cars, vans, pickups, SUV, etc. - GoPackGoExplorerHow old is your MH ?

While in Florida last year, in many areas there was one price for paying with a credit card and another for cash. Sometimes the Cash price was 10 cents or more cheaper than credit card price.
What can we expect in the the mid West?
About the same, with better scenery.
