There is s stretch of I-90 near here that frequently gets closed to "high-profile" vehicles due to high cross winds. It happens any time of year.
Usually, such vehicles are told to drop off the freeway and go through Livingston, then back onto the freeway a few miles later. That gets them out of the worst of the wind.
