With several people using it over a 7 day period, you really are not tracking how long the water in the bowl is really running, unless you stand there with a stop watch and time it every time it's flushed. With several people using it, different times of the day, you are not always aware of them using it. You are aware of the time you use it. So, slowly over a week it fills up. Little bits of time over a long time, add it all up....
Now, you fill the tank all at once. You stand there in one session. Yes, it seems like a lot. You know what? It is. It's just over the 7 days, you really don't see it
