Black tank not emptying

In my Class C the black tank is NOT straight run into the dump tube. It's at a right angle while the grey tank is the one that is straight into the dump tube. (Something I will DEFINITELY check on with my next one. )

The black tank also does not appear to be mounted at an angle. Therefore it's not emptying. So how do I solve this problem??

As long as you have enough water in the black tank, the angle of the pipe or the tank shouldn't matter. Since it's not emptying, how long has your tank been full of cr@p?

It will empty some but not all. I'm using a Sewer Solution. I open the black lever and let it go until no more stuff is coming out -- just the water from the sewer solution. When I go look inside its still got liquid & stuff in the black tank. I don't know how much but enough to cover the bottom and be sloshy.

Also I can't back flush because the black tanks at right angles to the outlet tube.

Run the opposite side up on boards.
  • My Forest River TH has a shallow tank directly under the stool and paper builds up there and will plug if I don't keep enough water in the tank to help move the paper toward the lower outlet. Sometimes I have to use the "wand" to push paper out of the way of the opening at the bottom of the stool. Extra flushes help but when you are trying get as much use as you can, the extra flushing fills the tank quicker. This is a frustrating feature built into these tanks.
  • Do you use a Flush King or other backflush device?
