Crowe, I think taking the Red Line to the Silver Line in is the best. That is what we are doing tomorrow.We though about the T but I'd have to drive to Alewife in Cambridge, hope I can get a spot there, then hook up with the silver line. I can actually take the train from N. Billerica to North Station but then I'd have to get to the Seaport district. Total time to do either plus cost just isn't worth it. There are plenty of lots near there but it does require a bit of a walk and some construction dodging.
We will be there also, as well as the Auto Show.If you are really into cars, check out the new Porsche Macan. It's the "baby" version of the Cayenne and it looks really sweet. Jeep has a diesel version of the Grand Cherokee available now that kind of caught our eye. Subaru had a cut-away car to show how it's constructed that was interesting. And, if anyone reading this is a MINI "purist", you won't like the 2014 changes. We did but we aren't purists on those. Being a two-MINI household but newcomers to the brand we like them a little bit larger. Scope out the chili red MINI Countryman with the trident on the hood. That's what color mine is and I'll be changing my stripes to the trident sometime soon.
The RV show had some very deep discounts but also the "3 days only" stuff. Most of these same dealers will be in Springfield and I am sure they will offer the same discounts there. We did talk to a few sales people but nobody was really pushy. Oh, and there was the usual "yes, an F150 can tow this stuff". Just keep your head on straight and everything will be fine.
