That's what I thought too. Probably had five people in it or more. And it's a pretty long trailer. A navigator would have been much more substantial.

With that said this thread is degrading to an undersized tow vehicle. But we see properly sized TV's as well.

This is what was next to me last weekend. A Chevy Tahoe pulling a Jayco Eagle Super Lite 314BDS @ 9250 lbs. GVW and 35'3" long. WD hitch (very cheap) and no sway control.

This is a typical accident waiting to happen on the highway.SUV & Big Trailer

Looks to me they are using an Equalizer brand hitch. It has built in sway control with four points of friction. A very good hitch.

the magic words are "super lite" able to be towed by a Volkswagen over the highest mountains and deepest valleys and sharpest curves at the fastest speed ...

years back a fella at a Foretravel dealer on the North side of Houston was demonstrating the cabinetry and he was sitting below a cabinet, reached up, grabbed the floor of the cabinet and lifted himself up off the seat.

The people walk out and the coach was still in one piece and no cabinets came off the wall. They got to drive it back to TX and there it was totaled but the people were ok. I know BLuebird is similar as well as Prevost too. You pay extra for that type of construction and hope you never need it but it does make for a wonderful driving coach.

My husband works for Achins, the tow company that was out there picking it up. He said all the passengers were ok and just a bit banged up. From what he told me the driver tried going around a military convoy.. and when they were speeding up to pass the convoy is when they lost control. I guess they were from Ontario Canada.. they had just bought the camper for their trip here. It was a 2014 Camper being pulled by a 2003 Lincoln Navigator.

Rig look a little small to be a Navigator.

1. It is not illegal in many states
2. The build of a trailer and motor home are much the same.
3. Around here locally we have had zero deaths from either a motor home or trailer but 15 this year from cars and trucks so it is proof that cars and trucks are extremely dangerous and should never be ridden in. Even motorcycles and Amish buggies have a much better record. :R
4. The advantage of those killed in cars and trucks are that they are "legally dead?"
