Camping World rip off

Question

The other day I spent 75 dollars at camping world and one of the items was plastic protectors for the sinks in our 5th wheel.  When we got them to the rv we found that they were way to big for an rv sink.  As I was looking at the receipt I realized that the buyer better beware.  The retail price was 7.99, GS price 6.99 now get this refund price 4.72 so they are going to charge me 2.27 each to return them for the right size ones.......I have never been charged a return fee except for special order items.  Had I known this I would never have bought them as they were an impulse buy as we already had protectors but they were old......I guess I will have to ask what the return price is from now on......

That sucks. I've never had a restocking fee for anything bought offline, or non-special order. That would make that my last trip to Camping World.

I would never be charged $2.27. I would hire an attorney and sue them. Never lose any money. Make them lose money.

Many stores are doing that now when you have a coupon. Penney's, Sears and Macy's have been doing it for years.If not the case, something's fishy.

Go to the store.  I went to exchange an item and the poor cashier took it as a return.  After a little explaining I was able to get across to her that I wanted to give her back the item and then I was going to leave the store with another item.  Light bulb went off and she said "why didn't you just ask for store credit, I can give you the full amount".

As I recall.. I have seen the restocking fee posted in Camping worlds I have visited.. BUT I STRESS the phrase AS I RECALL. have not been to a cw since May.
