Working at the above this summer. Anybody have info or pictures of workers campsites? I know they are about 1 mile from campground. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I work for the park service, stay in touch and we can have a get together up there. I am actually staying in West Yellowstone though.

You guys working at Canyon, are you working for the NPS or for one of the concessions such as Delaware North? Or is it a volunteer position?

Thanks for the pics & info wcbass. We're also working at Canyon this summer.

Looks like I should buy a new snow shovel to bring along since I just gave all ours away when we sold the house. Don't you just hate that!

Here's one other picture for you. Don't be fooled by the lack of snow in the previous pics. This pic was taken 5/13/14. Be prepared for all kinds of weather…

Here are some pics. Canyon CG has nice employee RV sites. Most can accommodate a 40' rig. All have water/30&50 amp electric/ sewer. If you want TV, you must bring a satellite dish. Feel free to PM for more info.

I hope you are taking the job because you love nature, wildlife, don't mind being 'away' from it all.
This will be like any of your journeys..Live and learn.
Lots of people go to a place because they hear a lot of others have gone there and then it is not what they expected.
Enjoy it, fall in love with it or say, ok, glad we did it but we will move on..

We never regretted doing YNP!!
Yes, I finally PM you.

Cell phone booster will be a big plus if you want to use cell/internet. It's a little weak in the employee campground. Have a great summer after the snow melts. We head in May 2nd. 🙂 🙂

The ones I took in April 2009 when we arrived are covered in snow 🙂
I will try and post later.
It seemed like good electric, water, sewer. You need your own propane and may need to have external tank set up. There was a laundry and I think shower building but we didn't use it.
Are you working at the big or little store at Canyon?
