Canyon campground Yellowstone

I work for the park service, stay in touch and we can have a get together up there. I am actually staying in West Yellowstone though.

We're with Delaware North.

You guys working at Canyon, are you working for the NPS or for one of the concessions such as Delaware North? Or is it a volunteer position?

Looks like I should buy a new snow shovel to bring along since I just gave all ours away when we sold the house. Don't you just hate that!

Here are some pics. Canyon CG has nice employee RV sites. Most can accommodate a 40' rig. All have water/30&50 amp electric/ sewer. If you want TV, you must bring a satellite dish. Feel free to PM for more info.

I hope you are taking the job because you love nature, wildlife, don't mind being 'away' from it all.
This will be like any of your journeys..Live and learn.
Lots of people go to a place because they hear a lot of others have gone there and then it is not what they expected.
Enjoy it, fall in love with it or say, ok, glad we did it but we will move on..

Cell phone booster will be a big plus if you want to use cell/internet. It's a little weak in the employee campground. Have a great summer after the snow melts. We head in May 2nd. :) :)
