Cat scale measurements, WD setup

I stopped by the truck stop this morning and got a base measurement on just my truck. We are pulling out in the morning for a long weekend trip. The plan is to re-weigh in the morning with the TT hooked up, but without the DW and kids, so everything will be apples to apples. I just wanted to check to see that I have all this straight in my head.
1. If i subtract vehicle only wgt from vehicle TT combined wgt that will show TT weight.
2. If I subtract front and rear vehicle only wgt from front and rear vehicle TT wgt, that will show tongue wgt.
Any other useful calculations to get while I'm on the scale?
The second part of this is to verify WD setup. I have the Propride 3p hitch and want to verify its setup. For general knowledge the scale ticket this morning showed: front-3360lb, rear-2600lb, 5960- gross. I don't know what it will show hooked up, but if everything was "ideal" should I see the same ratio front to back as I do unloaded? That seems unrealistic to me. As I currently set it up, using the tape measure method, I return the front to its original, unloaded, height but I thought the scale should show me exactly what I need to shoot for. It tows well now, no sway, level truck by eye and tape, just want to verify everything while I have some $2 re-weighs to use. Thanks!

Take a look at this post by member Ron Gratz. He details exactly how to get all the measurments you need at the Cat Scale. Using the information gained in those measurements, you can determine all the information you need to adjust your hitch correctly.

No. You should see the rear axle go up more than the front axle. If you have a few extra minutes, unhook your WDH and leave the bars in the truck bed for a re-weigh. This will show you much weight your WDH is shifting to the front axle and the trailer axles. Not really a "must know" but if you have a few minutes, its worth doing.
