Well, it may not be as many as you think. The CDC says the seasonal flu shot effectiveness varies from 19% to 60% depending on the year, but mostly is considerably under 50% effective. The last couple years were under 40%, quite a bit under. So maybe it benefits big pharma most of all. :)
