Yup, and I did dewinterize or really am still in process. WooHoo!! It was nice just being out doing things without getting cold!! I flushed out the lines, and now the bleach water is doing its thing through the system until tomorrow.

I was wondering, since I need to do some cleaning of cabinets as I am putting my gear away, any reason why I can't I use the bleach water? I used 2 cups bleach for 44 gallon tank, I did fill up the hot water heater as well, figuring that could use some santitizing also. I don't plan on heating up the water heater, with the bleach water, but also was wondering if that would be a problem? Wouldn't think so thining Hot Tubs do it all the time? Thoughts?

I couldn't wait any more, de-winterized a couple of weeks ago. I was hoping to get a weekend in before a weeks vacation the end of April. Doesn't look like that is going to happen. Anyways will be going trout fishing at Roaring River State Park in two weeks!!!! Yay!!!!

Sadly I was too optimistic, it didn't even get into the 50's today. Too cold for messing with water! Instead I made the 2nd cornhole game for my daughter to paint and give to her boyfriend for his birthday. Still kind of like camping stuff. Followed the cornhole book on this website http://www.cornholehowto.com/
Around 4:00pm the sun arrived, and I noticed a shift from cold to not-quite-so cold. Maybe its my optimism :R

We rolled out last week for a week in VA.. Left the Sunday before Easter and it was 20 at home that AM ... pulled into VA it was 50 that afternoon.. the next 3 days it topped out at 75.. What a great trip..
I just waited to de-winterize till I got there..

We had a fire in the woodstove last night and there's still piles of snow around. I need warm weather and want to go camping! Agnes

Last year we had 7-8 days with night time temps above 32 also so I purged the water system checked for leaks etc. With in 4 days I was putting heaters in the basement because we had night time temps are 24 and daytime temps around 40. I think I'll wait a bit longer here in western NY this year, maybe May 1st at the earliest.

Jeeesh, I had to turn on the A/C in the house last night. Went from having heat on last week in the 40'S to 86 and humid yesrerday. Will be camping next week at Coleman Lake in the Talladega National Forest. Cant wait. Hope it warms up quick for the northerners.

I know the feeling. I was starting to think winter would never end. :)
Any night above freezing is a good night.
I won't dewinterize for a couple more weeks. Just in case.

We had some rain last couple of days and my brown grass is slightly turning green now. A little time for us for length yet, but I don't mind waiting for that. Your warmth is heading our way shortly!! WooHoo!!
