We have eaten at one of these restaurants in the san Antonio area. Food was good there.

We were in Van Horn in May 2013. Yes, it's still open. We did not eat there, but some folks who were in town with us were headed that way.

Just be careful where you park your RV in that town. It has a very ANTI RV mayor and she has NO qualms about calling the police on you, if you are parked in the wrong place or try to stay in the truck stop overnight.

Yes, the restaurant was still there the last time we went through and the food was good.
