Competent RV service, Ocala FL area

After spending several THOUSANDS of dollars with them over the past 2 years, my previously favorite RV dealer's service department told me that they didn't want to see me again......ever. Apparently they don't like it when I ask them to finish the job or fix something they messed up. But they sure were happy to take my money. :M

SO.....any recommendations for good RV service in the Ocala, FL area ??

After a good experience with Camping World in Charlotte/Concord last week I'm tempted to give them another chance here.

Why not put it on a credit card and if they didn't do it to your satisfaction dispute the bill and withhold paying for the service until it is done correctly.

I absolutely hate anytime I ever see a phrase like this. If you have a problem, outright refuse payment until such item is corrected, or be persistent and follow legal means to resolve the matter. The second you swipe the credit card, you are entering into an AGREEMENT to pay them for services rendered. To provide payment with the intent to dispute the charge is a pre-emptive breach of contract. If you think about it, this the same concept as someone who steals your credit card number, buys something and attempts to stick you with the bill. Most places call this FRAUD or THEFT.

The RV dealer likely has deeper pockets than we do. If you decline the charge after services are rendered and after you swiped the card, enjoy your time fighting with their attorneys. You will lose.

I just recently had some work done with Alliance RV in Wildwood, Florida. I think that's only about 30 miles south of you. I was pleased with their work.

    Thanks. I'll check them out.
Good "truck" wash in Wildwood too.

That is NOT the problem. They have always been good enough about correcting the things they "overlooked" the first time around.....but it seems that there always was something not quite right on every service visit.

What sort of service do you need? Engine/chassis or house?

House mostly. I have a good place for engine/chassis work.
