Don't let the possible bouncing steer you away from a rear kitchen. It's really not as bad as you may think, and with a little planning is not a problem at all. I take a few minutes and wrap glassware in washcloths and stuff extra towels in the cupboards to minimize the bouncing. I have "real glass" glasses and Corelle. We full-time, and the few extra minutes it takes to pack the kitchen is WELL WORTH the extra space! (Small pillows, extra sweatshirts, etc. also work great for packing.)
