cpap

First thing is turn off the humidifier power hog. I get my stuff from the VA they will give you a battery pack and a 12 volt cord.

Battery is only good for a night and a half if you dont recharge it during the day. I have since put 2 six volt golf cart batteries and a 100 amp solar panel in the back end of the motor home with a 12 volt outlet. No more worries about power and I also run the TV with inverter of of it to.
  • I use passive humidification even at home, so the humidifier is always off.

I have a 12v cord for the CPAP, it is way more efficient than using an inverter to power the CPAP. I added a cigarette lighter plug on the side of the bed.

  • I really can't tell much of a difference when I don't use the humidifier. another power hog that a different thread reminded me, was the heated tubing which is totally unnecessary.

  • Why turn off the humidifier? Does it really hog that much power for the comfort it provides? I think spending some extra time charging battery would be a good trade off for not having dried up sinus in the morning?
