It looks like relocation the attachment of the chains solves the issue but if not have someone with a plasma cutter blow a notch through all the way across as in the picture above and then weld in an short piece of 1-1/2" angle to close the ends. 15 minutes for someone with the tools.
I'd melt it off for you, but I am not driving to Lansing unless you're giving me tickets to MIS, paying for my fuel, and letting me set up my rig in your front yard hooked to your utilities for a long weekend........You can get it done a lot cheaper than that LOL.
They have the coupler mounted too far to the rear, it should of been welded on so the ends of the tube are where the arrow and red line are, where the coupler stamping breaks that angle. They had the A frame slightly off so they jammed it on there and where it fit....it fit. They did not want to spend the time to pop a couple shims in. Probably only an issue with Equalizer.
