I'd ask Pete if this was his personal RV, would he want to be hauling this trailer all over with glue residue all over the front and all the dirt and whatnot adhered to the glue. If he replies that it wouldn't bother him then I think that's all you need to know about him and his business. Regardless, I'd be looking for another place to get any future service work done.
