X + .10 price
We see more and more stations in this area posting prices for X price and then if you use a credit card you pay a higher price. - ivbinconnedExplorer IIWell you all are sure enjoying the discussion I started. I note there is only one other Canuck commenting.
The rest of you have the luxury of being a lot closer to the warmer climates and you can get there using real money. Not the funny money us poor freedom loving Canadians are saddled with.
We already are taking a hit on our funny currency so having to look for the best options and curbing our wandering is all part of the pain.
We do it anyhow because it is that time of our lives.
I sometimes think that our lousy government manipulates a lower currency in an effort to make Canadians stay home.
I feel so protected.
Thank you my American friends. You have a great country and I do feel blessed to have you as a neighbour.
I have posted many a question here over the years and I appreciate the always quick response. - HorsedocExplorer IIWe see more and more stations in this area posting prices for X price and then if you use a credit card you pay a higher price. Some will have a very small 'cash' under the price posted on their billboard.

In the grand scheme of things if it's that important to save a few dollars vs the convenience of stopping where you want, maybe you can't afford this trip. Just sayin.

I agree if the small difference in cost for fuel is never a consideration. Not to say I look for a deal but if fuel is a major concern you may not want to travel as there are so many other costs that can make fuel look like a very small concern. Cummins12V98 wrote:

I stop where convenient for me fuel up and head down the road.. we also pay our cards off in full each month...
We have not paid interest on CC's in many years... It's a nice place to be and I a thankful for being able to do so.
EXACTLY!
I hit the Truck Stops that way I have ZERO issue entering or exiting. Towing doubles or not I still use em.
Let's say I pay .25 a gallon more than the Arco down the road at 25 gallons that is only $6.25.
Some will "Trip over" that amount, I sure don't!
" ARCO " ?????
You still have Arco stations out on that coast ? they ALL closed up around here maybe 20 years ago? I worked at the local Arco before going to the local Exxon..... hmmmmmmmm . that was 40 or so years ago...- Cummins12V98Explorer III
