Haha, that's what I always thought and have done too, but this spring I got rid of a couple gallons of dirtbike premix into one of the mowers. 2-3 gal of premix in a 5 gal tank, topped off with reg gas. I thought the old mower spring an oil leak after running it. It slobbered a big puddle of oil out of what I thought was the valve over or head/cyl gasket!
Thought it was end of the road for the old mower until I realized the oil on the ground was red and smelled just like the Klotz oil that I'm currently using!
On the upside, the exhaust smelled like 2 stroke race gas for a while!
Evidently it was too much oil at once, but my mower engine was well lubed!

I have about 1 gallon of old (1 yr) gasoline that is mixed with 2 cycle oil... I have no more items that use this fuel.. How or where do I dispose of it legally? None of my neighbors have 2 stroke engines so no one to give it to..I live in the city so can't burn it, I won't pour it on ground, local hazmat facility won't take it, and fire dept has no clue.. How have you SAFELY disposed of old gasoline?

You may be right but I wouldn’t pour old gasoline much less mixed with any oil into my Tahoe’s gas tank. No way.
