Does Furnace Run on DC Power??
A friend and I are planning a trip where we might have to stay overnight in a parking lot the first night in. We both have TTs. Can we run our furnaces off of DC Power?

Rule of thumb........1 standard trailer battery/1 night of furnace use
Then you have to recharge battery.
So next day of travel will not recharge trailer battery sufficiently after a night of furnace use UNLESS you have a VERY LONG drive.
Charge line from tow vehicle to trailer is a long small wire and limited in recharging capabilities.
Hopefully your next stop is with AC power so trailer converter/charger can be used.
