Dolly towing a 2016 Toyota Avalon
Does anyone have experience dolly towing a 2016 Avalon? Just wondering if there is a problem with unlocking the steering column (stress on the steering system) to tow on an Acme EZ tow dolly. Cheers,...

We use the Acme dolly as well. While it is not a Avalon we tow a Highlander. As long as you turn the key to off and not the acc position and leave the key in the ignition the wheel does not lock. Our wheel does not lock until you pull the key out. As you know already it has to be front wheel drive only and not AWD.
We have well over 10 k towing miles so far with not one problem on this highlander.
