dolly towing a toyota prius

i have a mastertow dolly and a newer toyota prius and noticed that the clearence on the front spoiler is not enough to drive up onto the dolly without scraping the bottom pretty good so what i did was put 2 high (2") square leveling blocks on the street right before the dolly ramp and that gave me just the clearence to drive right up like i should.
  • We have had a Prius on a dolly since 2004. This last year, we decided to buy a 20' enclosed. It fit in very nicely. We had all of the various road rash incidents repainted, and sold the dolly. We now have a travelling garage full of extra stuff, and the car is protected.

The only difference we can see is that the car is 'confused' for a minute or two when it's last GPS fix was Myrtle Beach, SC, and we put it back on the street in Pismo Beach, CA.
  • Would it be feasible to have the "lift" mounted permanently on the loading ramp? Perhaps the ramp may have to be extended?
