Our Excursion got old and they wanted a lot of money for something to pull an 8500 lb TT so we trailer the TT a couple years ago. We got an Elantra to pull four down. The Excursion, with 191,000 miles, goes to the dump every week or two and pulls a small trailer. It is hard for me to believe that a ford could die but besides a long list of little things, the front seal on the trans leaks and there is a lot of rust underneath. I just parked it out back and bought a 2010 ranger. I went from 3 rows of leather to 2 bucket seats. I may set the ranger up to tow and use the Elantra for a daily driver.

Isn’t there a big market for Excursions in any condition?
