Drivers side front slide.

Today as I was inspecting the slides on Our 2006 Fleetwood revolution, I noticed a strange red plastic tube stiching out from behind the vertical rubber seal. It is about 2 1/2" long. After looking more closely, it seems to be a covering for an aluminum pipe. It seems like when I opened the slide, this thing was caught some how and is squeezed getween the slide and the body of the RV. Below this and connecting to aluminum pipe is a purple something which looks like it may be a covering for wires. Any insight will be appreciated. I plan to look at it tomorrow when the light is better. :h
  • UH!! I sure do hate to write this but I must explain about the slide problem I had and the cause of the problem. I am sure most of you have seen and used one of those brooms with a metel handle covered with Purple plastic, They have a plastic end on the handle. It looks something like a spool of thread used to hang the broom on a nail, or something. I am sure you know where this is going. I usually look before I close the slides. Well, this time I didn't and missed the broom leaning on the wall. It was behind the driver's chair and the window curtain. I opened the slide and the broom was caught with just the end visible from outside. I told DW about it and that if she was going to doing any flying, she would have to use the spare broom. Now, after wrapping the spare around my pointed head, she is grounded until We go shopping for a replacement broom.:o:B
