Info on looking into towing this vehicle with Class A or C. I read that you just pull a fuse and stay with front wheel drive. Does all wheel drive tow? Any intel on this at all. Thanks

DISCLAIMER: Double check the 2017 owner's manual before committing to the purchase.

We tow our 2015 GMC Terrain V6 AWD (GMC version of the Equinox). Owner's manual outlines the details and you're right. It's basically put it in neutral and pull a 5a fuse. There's actually aftermarket fuse switches that you could add to avoid pulling the fuse every time (and risking dropping it down into the console...) Side note: If you're going with a braking system that uses a cigarette lighter plug, the front ones disable when you pull that fuse... you may need an extension cord to reach the one in the back cargo area. On ours, that plug remains "hot". We also ran a charge wire from the camper to the toad just to be sure the battery remained good and charged.

Sounds reasonable, I have always heard it called 4 down towing. Dick

Thanks for info on car and towing. Dry towing , I guess I said that wrong. I just meant towing vehicle behind RV on all fours. I have always said dry. I guess it could be other terms also.

I did a search for an Equinox manual and the procedure is the same for front and all wheel drive. The owners manual sets forth the sequence of things to do and it is quite simple. You do need to remove a fuse - DSLI. There is a after market switch that can be installed to make this easy to do. The procedure and fuse is the same for my Chevy Sonic.
