- RedGExplorerFunny about the non-potable water at Cabela's. The only place they can get the water is from the city water supply. I think it's just to keep people from filling up their fresh water tank.
I put some of their non-potable water in my fresh water tank at the Ft. Worth Cabela's and didn't die. - Matt_ColieExplorer IIMost Cabela's have dumps. But as you infer, many are closed during the cold season. For some reason, they rarely have potable water available.
They are also usually better places to over night than most Walmarts. The only real problem is that we seem to target a store that is having a sidewalk sale with great prices that one of us can't pass up.
