Impressive, I was hoping it was going to stop, uncomfortable to watch.....unfortunately that kind of dancing in the wind would have caused major damage if there was a Slide below the awning......like most RV s have.....

Here's a video of that new electric awning that has horizontal ( not vertical) arms on it. Quite amazing awning.

Wow, I'd have bet that it would have been pretty severely damaged in that kind of wind. I'm impressed.

It may have not been damaged, but I bet it made a heck of a racket! Nice to know there was no damage. The had the fans set up to blow directly perpendicular to the RV. I wonder what the result would have been if it blew parallel to the RV?

We have the Model 9100 electric awning - not the premium one in the video - and it doesn't take much wind to get it jumping around to the point where you want to either tie it down or retract it .....

Interesting video and impressive but;
The video states 80 KPH is hurricane force winds yet it is only 50 mph which is quite good but I cannot stand hype no where near hurricane force winds
