Exterior Speaker Cover

1 of 2 round, plastic exterior speaker covers cracked and I cannot find a replacement part. Can anyone recommend an online store that may sell this?

I'd suggest to replace with steel mesh covers

Are they a direct replacement for plastic?
Since I don't know what you have and don't know which steel cover you're interested in buying, I can't answer the question.

The Parts Express 6 1/2" fine mesh steel covers have a mounting ring that has hole alignments to fit typical speaker flange mounting holes. You would unscrew your existing mounting screws and use the new cover flange to mount everything together. The cover and trim ring snap-fit onto the mounting ring.
  • The VERY cheep speakers they use the grill is part of the speaker. You can get the same cheep replacement speakers for around $20.

As someone suggested I would get some better quality marine speakers, shallow mount.

Most RV MFG use 5.25 magnadyne speakers. you can find them on ebay.
  • Try Parts Express https://www.parts-express.com/?

Will probably be less expensive than Crutchfield.
  • Crutchfield. Yes you will likely have to buy a pair of enclosures with marine grade speakers. They aren't very expensive and will likely be better quality anyway. I bought a pair a few years ago on my old fiver. I did it because I wanted better sound. They aren't that hard to change.
